rustic ambiance, excellent cleanliness, unique outdoor showers
Need more flexibility with the strict 8pm check-in policy!!! Availability of microwaves and coffee pots would enhance convenience, as well as improved privacy features in bathrooms for shared accommodations!!!

Cleanliness stood out. you won't find a speck of dirt here. The outdoor showers are a cool touch, adding a unique vibe to the experience.
The 8pm check-in deadline policy is strict, leading to unnecessary stress if travel plans change. Noise can be an issue due to nearby dogs and roosters, but it becomes charming over time. Lacked a microwave and coffee pot, with some rooms missing hammocks, which would’ve elevated the comfort level.

The location of Pura Vida is perfect, just a block from shops and restaurants. Loved the hotel’s cleanliness and the peaceful atmosphere of the gardens. My room had a private bath and was airy and breezy. Housekeeping was daily, which exceeded my expectations. Breakfast in the mornings was delightful. they brought coffee to my room when requested. On the downside, the rooms lacked glass windows, which let in all the sounds from outside, like people chatting or dogs barking at night. Also, the outdoor seating area can get busy, which made it a bit tricky to relax at times. Would recommend a little more privacy for shared bathroom guests. Despite these quirks, I enjoyed my stay greatly, especially with the tranquility in the mornings and the friendliness of the staff.

We LOVED our room and the staff! Our second-floor room had a private bath and was airy enough that we never missed having air conditioning. Housekeeping came daily, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was attentive, even bringing coffee to our room on request. The location was ideal, just a short walk to shops and restaurants.
While it was a bit noisy at night with dogs and roosters, we found it charming over time.

The room was spacious and well-designed, with a delightful open shower that embraced nature. Friendly staff attended to us, providing great advice and ensuring a clean and safe environment during our visit. However, the noise from nearby roosters and dogs might be bothersome for some, especially at night. Also, while the hot water was reliable, the absence of a kitchen and refrigerator greatly limited food options.
